The main host hotel for MAPFSW is:
Montego Bay Resort and Convention Center
1700 Boardwalk, North Wildwood, NJ 08260
There also is a block of rooms available at:
Matador Oceanfront Resort
511 E 16th Ave, North Wildwood, NJ 08260
Note: A block of rooms will be set aside at the hotels and attendees will get a special discounted weekend rate, which will be announced soon. Attendees will be responsible for reserving and covering the cost of their rooms for MAPFSW, except for new honorees who are being recognized for the first time (or what are known as 1st year honorees.) Please let the hotel know you will be there for Mid-Atlantic Police and Fire Survivors Weekend.
If your fallen officer or firefighter has not yet been recognized at the MAPFSW event, you are considered a first-year attendee. If you are submitting the ‘First Year Attendee Submission’ form (see: Registration), up to two rooms at the Matador hotel will be paid by the MAPFSW committee. Please contact the North Wildwood Police Dept. at 609‐522‐2030, ext. 1504 and let them know you are a first‐year MAPFSW attendee and need to make hotel arrangements. This only applies to first‐year honorees.
In previous years, the MAPFSW committee made every effort to obtain donations from the community and businesses in order to cover the cost of hotel rooms for returning attendees. The expense of covering such a large number of rooms was very high and only increased every year, although donations and other financial support decreased. Therefore, returning attendees will be responsible for making their reservations and covering the cost of the room for the event weekend.
